DIVISIONS

As a producer of multilingual documentation, our operations are divided into different production teams.

Coordination

This is the heart of our operations, where we monitor all tasks in real time both in Europe and Japan. Our on-line tracking system is state-of-the-art to even enable clients to log on and track their assignments in real time 24/7.

Desktop Publishing

Although DTP has become a highly automated task, it still requires specialized knowledge. Our DTP operators manage the publishing side of documents, primarily in Adobe® InDesign® and Adobe® FrameMaker®.

Translation

We work with in-house translators as well as translators on exclusive contracts and many others. All translators are native speakers and usually graduates from translation programs with extensive experience.

IT

Due to the complexity of assignments and the wide range of applications we handle, we employ a specialized team that assists with file conversions, translation memory work and other automated tasks.

Quality Assurance

We care about quality, and to this end we have implemented stringent quality assurance systems. Our QA staff applies both automatic checking procedures as well as manual checking to visually verify document layouts and make sure documents are perfect prior to delivery.

Research & Software Development

Our programmers continuously develop new systems and methods to streamline document production in an effort to save time and cost.

SLOVAK
Slovak, also known as Slovakian, is an Indo-European language belonging to the West Slavic languages (together with Czech and Polish). The language is very similar to Czech and the two are mutually intelligible, with the exception of some dialects in East Slovakia that have structural differences. Slovak has been influenced by many languages, including Czech, Polish, German, and Hungarian.

In 1993, Czechoslovakia split into Slovakia and the Czech Republic and Slovak then became the official language of Slovakia. The language however is still very closely related to Czech with close cultural and educational contact. For economic reasons, a large number of books published in Slovakia are written in the Czech language.
  • Official language in Slovakia and Vojvodina (in Serbia)

  • Slovak is an official EU language

  • 5 million native speakers in Slovakia

  • Spoken by small minorities in the USA, Czech, Republic and Serbia
